Zestörer is derived from the German word for "destroyer," and it resonates with Storer’s name. Among English-speaking cyclists and friends, the English variant of Storer’s nickname got adopted.
Ultimately, Trentin won the sprint of a small chasing group, finishing sixth. The Giro d'Italia continues with a flat stage on Friday - an excellent opportunity for Alberto Dainese, Tudor Pro Cycling's sprinter.

Dainese was slightly disappointed after the finish, saying: "I hope we can improve the result for the next stages. I am happy, though, that I could secure a top 5 finish after some difficult stages this week."
During the final climb, Prati di Tivo (14.7km, 7.0% avg), Storer's breakaway attempt was caught. However, the Australian from Tudor Pro Cycling still had energy left. He managed to keep pace with the GC favorites and finished the stage in ninth position.
Storer is currently in 12th place in the Giro d'Italia general classification. The following stages are predominantly flat. Tudor will be looking to support sprinter Alberto Dainese in achieving stage results.
